About the Role
We are looking for a newly graduated Infrastructure Developer to work in the SAP environment. The person will mainly be working with Focused Build and the Charm solution, within SAP Solution Manager. It's important that you have experience in Change management and Release management.
This role supports different parts of the IT landscape of the company, providing knowledge and hands-on support within the SAP Platform to Solution Owners, Application Developers and other IT colleagues as well as acting as an infrastructural coordinator for projects and solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that supports both internal and external projects and teams with modern infrastructure expertise.
Your engagement will be in new projects in a highly people focused work environment. You will have the chance to participate in international teams with the opportunity to make a difference in the organization.
The Infrastructure Developer acts as the connection between different infrastructural teams and different solutions and project teams. The Infrastructure Developer will work closely with solution owners, Information Security Team, Project Teams and 3rd party vendors, supporting our infrastructure to deliver the right solutions for Essity.
What You Will Do
• Develop, implement, maintain and support the group wide SAP ALM methodology and our OnPrem SAP Solution manager 7.2
• Work with SAP products Focused Build and Charm to support the change/release management for the complete SAP landscape
• Collaborate with project management and release management for integration points of Change management
• Train and support the project team in working with Focused Build / Solution documentation and Focused Insights
• Establish governance and best practices for Solution Manager, Charm
• Perform transports/developments through the landscape per approved change control procedures
• Manage Issues in regards of SAP developments with our integration partner and / or after escalation with SAP
• Prepare necessary documentation for configuration, trouble shooting and ongoing maintenance of the environment
Who You Are
Required Education and Experience and Personal capabilities:
To be a fit for this role, you are newly graduated with a university degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other related business area.
You have an interest in the whole context when it comes to change management, release management, testing, and requirements. It is also required that you are fluent in English, both written and oral. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who enjoys participating in global projects. While being detailed oriented, systematic and thorough, you can maintain a holistic perspective and the capability to think outside the box, when needed. You work within a project structure but can take initiative and encourage the streamlining of business processes.
Other than this, we believe you are a self-motivated team-player who thrives in learning new things.
Meriting skills
• Basic knowledge in Operating Systems, Databases and Networks is a plus
• Basic knowledge in Authorizations concepts and Systems security topics is a plus
• Teamwork oriented
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable to motivate others
• Willingness to seek for new challenges and step-out of the comfort zone
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Unix experience
• Change/Release Management
• Programing skills
