What to expect
Uppsala Monitoring Centre is recruiting a Junior Business Analyst to its Customer Engagement Team. This is a varied role where you will be part of the Sales and Outreach Department but work closely with staff from other teams. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a growing department and an evolving organisation, with plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to learn and develop your skills.

What you will do
As a Junior Business Analyst, you will mainly be working with sales performance numbers for analysis using internal customer relationship management and business management systems. You will also assist various teams with administrative tasks as well as promote and sell our products as needed through engagement with customers. To summarise, you will be involved in:

- Analysing and reporting results
- Forecasting and investigations
- Statistical analysis
- Monitoring and administrating systems
- Promoting and selling UMC products

Since the position involves processing large amounts of information, you will be working in depth with MS Excel. You would also be required to find, analyse, and follow up inconsistencies.

About you
You are motivated by immersing yourself in complex scenarios and problems, and together with your colleagues, finding new solutions and approaches to the problems.

You are personally well-organised, delivery-focused and a good team player and have a passion for numbers, market and business intelligence, statistics and creating insight from performance results.

You should also have good communication and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate and connect with a wide variety of stakeholders, and to explain new and/or complex matters in a way that is easy to understand.
What we require of you

- Degree-level qualification in one of the following or related fields:
economics/data science/statistics/business administration
- Proficiency in written as well as spoken English
- Good knowledge of MS Excel

It is an advantage if you have

- Experience of business management systems, preferably Qlick view
- Experience of visualising statistics
- Experience of financial monitoring
