What does it mean to be IT Consultant in Software Architecture at Synnax?

Role summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. You will see the "big picture" and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.
A great software architect has a strong technical background and excellent IT skills. They are experienced in designing and possess the ability to develop a unified vision for software characteristics and functions.
The goal is to provide a framework for the development of software or system that will result in high-quality IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
With limited direction, configures software or creates/modifies software code to meet business requirements;
Creates and executes test plans for software modifications and facilitates transfer into production.
Confers with customers and team members to determine requirements;
Designs systems that address and solve corporate business needs; utilise business and systems knowledge to best meet customer and organisational needs.
Manages and maintains controls and procedures, ensuring that assigned IT areas are performing significant tasks on schedule and within expense parameters.
Establishes, monitors, and improves service delivery levels including reliability, availability, accuracy, serviceability, and cost.
Interfaces with all levels of management to develop requirements and obtain approval for the implementation of new systems.
Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team
Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility,
Requirements:
Proven experience as a software architect, at least 6 years of experience
Understanding of SAP Cloud products roadmap around and how it integrates with on-premises
Experience with SAP Web IDE, HANA, OData, SAP Gateway, XML, and BTP technologies is a plus.
Experience in software development and coding in various languages (Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.)
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka
Experience in designing and using relational and non-relational databases such as MS SQL, HANA DB, Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, and Redis.
Understanding of software quality assurance principles
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
Experience with cloud-based technologies like HANA Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ability to operate independently or as part of a team and complete agreed-upon deliverables within established timeframes.
Verbal and written fluency in English
Preferred qualifications:
MSc/MA in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
Proven Track-record from previous positions (e.g. recognised achievements & deliveries)
