At Sandvik Machining Solutions, we're now looking for an experienced and collaborative leader to join us in managing IT transformation initiatives to drive operational excellence. This is a key role in shaping the future of IT and leading impactful change across our organization.
Your mission
In this position, you're responsible for defining the IT transformations strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives. You create and maintain an IT transformation roadmap, ensuring its consistency with the long-term organizational vision. Establishing an agile organization and governance structure is also part of your job, as well as streamlining the country IT service catalog. In collaboration with common and regional IT services management teams, you make decisions on IT sourcing objects and lead IT transformation initiatives to ensure they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements while delivering measurable value.
You support key stakeholders in transformation initiatives, including M&A and site projects, and you identify technological opportunities for innovation and operational improvement. Leading change management processes is vital in helping us adopt new ways of working, while communicating transformation goals and providing training to support teams throughout the change process.
Also included in your job is to:
Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with business needs and objectives.
Identifying and mitigate risks associated with IT transformation initiatives.
Manage transformation budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.
Ensure the availability and development of IT staff skills necessary for transformation initiatives.
Track and measure performance of transformation initiatives against key metrics and KPIs.
The location for this position is Stockholm or Sandviken and we apply a hybrid work set-up, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
About you
We're looking for an experienced IT professional with a background in agile and servant leadership - committed to fostering a collaborative work environment. You have knowledge of IT infrastructure and provision of IT services. With experience in managing IT teams, you have developed an understanding of cross-functional collaboration, change and stakeholder management. Your expertise in project management and agile way of working enables you to lead complex initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in IT or equivalent. Working in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.
We also believe that you have experience in the following areas:
Product led organization & services.
Management and cooperation with suppliers.
Financial Management including budget and ROI.
IT Service Management.
