hela Sverige As IT Service Manager you will help drive & develop the IT Workplace for SKF Factories and Front-Line workers, taking Workplace services in these areas to the next level in SKF. This position is responsible for owning & managing the IT Workplace services for SKF Factories, Front-line workers and IT Services/Components in Conference rooms. Ensuring core tooling, software and processes (like SCCM/Adaptiva, Microsoft Office, Windows OS, Software update processes, Image Management) support the SKF Factories needs.
Global responsibility for End User Devices (PC:s, Industry PC:s & Tablets) used by SKF Factories as well as IT components used in Conference rooms are also part of this role. Responsible for managing outsourcing suppliers, monitoring performance, improving the services, as well as aligning service with Business & IT strategy.
You will as IT Service Manager Factory Workplace work closely with the other IT Service Managers in the team, ensuring a successful implementation and usage by end users. You will in this role set global SKF standards in area of responsibility, build and maintain a global network of local IT, Facilities, supplier & partners, ensuring a global standard and delivery of word-class IT Workplace Services.
Your day-to-day work
• You will own and manage the IT Workplace services for SKF Factories, Front-line workers and IT Services/Components in Conference rooms.
• Manage suppliers & partners used in area of responsibility
• Drive and develop standardization, consolidation and constant modernization of Workplace services
• Ensure IT Workplace services to SKF Factories & Front-line workers support SKF business
in delivering their business goals & strategies
• Responsible for the IT Device (like PC, IoT, Panel PC:s) selection, sourcing and standardization process for IT Factory Workplace and devices in Conference Rooms
• Taking part in sourcing/purchasing activities
• Close cooperation with SKF Facility teams, SKF Factories and local IT
• Support in monitor & analyze the IT industry ensuring SKF is up-to-date in Workplace area
• Provides support to projects in Workplace area
• Owner of other selected Workplace applications in cooperation with the whole Workplace team
• Contribute to daily operation of the Workplace Services team through shared operational problem solving to ensure the combined success of the team
• Responsible for approving Change Requests in Workplace area
• University degree or relevant education
• Experience in IT change and project management
• Senior experience in the IT Workplace area (PC & Software)
• Excellent knowledge in IT infrastructure & Software (PC/iPad, Active Directory, Virtual Clients, Windows, SCCM, Modern Management, Intune)
• Experience working in an outsourced IT environment, managing vendors
• Office365 knowledge is considered a plus
• Fluent in English, both oral and written. Swedish is an advantage.
