IT QA
Permobil is looking for someone who can assist us in the field of quality assurance and computer system validation within medical regulated operations.

You will work together with the rest of the team stationed in Sweden and the United States. The team consists of IT architects, application developers and business analysts.
YOUR ROLE - Key responsibilities
In the role as QA within IT you work with the overall quality of our delivered solutions. Permobil delivers medical devices and is subject to regulatory requirements on our processes and services. The responsibility also includes making sure Permobil IT lives up to privacy requirements from GDPR and corresponding laws worldwide.
You will have the overall responsibility for the IT quality assurance and system validation work throughout implementation and lifecycle of our IT systems. You will participate in requirements processes by evaluating systems from a regulatory compliance perspective. In this work you will have access to highly experienced co-workers within this field, but you will be the person having the overview of our quality work.
YOUR PROFILE - Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in quality assurance of IT systems adhering to regulatory standards established by, among others, the European Union and the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA). You are well versed in standards such as ISO 13485, ISO/TR 80002-2 and directives such as FDA 21 CFR part 11, Quality System Regulations (QSRs), Medical Device Directives (MDD) such as EU 93/42/EEC.
For your work with privacy regulations such as EU 2016/679 (GDPR), you have an understanding of how privacy information needs to be identified and how it may be processed and on which legal grounds.
In the role of QA within IT you work both independently and in teams across the organization with a business-driven mindset. You have the ability to work proactively with energy and determination to push your assignments towards their objectives.
You are able to identify a vision along with the plans which need to be implemented to meet the end goal, evaluating situations, decisions and issues in the short, medium and long term. To provide the best value you share knowledge and resources across Permobil, look for value for the business, set plans and manage them effectively. You also consider the business implications in your decisions, avoid waste and challenge the use of resources and processes to maximize effectiveness.
As a person, you are also innovative and have a clear initiative ability. You have the ability to lead and communicate with other people as well as give a safe impression. You are also curious and have an interest in IT technology.
You also have experience in:
Software testing and IT quality assurance.
GDPR compliance of IT systems
You have experience from the IT industry in a similar role
Degree from university in relevant area or other comparable experience
You master Swedish and English in speech and writing
It is desirable if you:
Have experience from work with IT quality in the medical branch
Have a technical IT background
