THE POSITION
As an IT Project Manager at NENT, you will coordinate the work of other IT professionals and administrative staff within your team to deploy new software and systems. One of the core aspects of this job is to efficiently organise people and time resources, to ensure projects run smoothly from the idea to it's execution.
THE CHALLENGE AHEAD
IT project management is a part of NENT Group IT and, here, Project Managers have the ultimate responsibility to meet various business needs. Your daily tasks might include:
• Identifying resources needed to develop project plans, goals and budgets.
• Developing schedules and methods for measuring results.
• Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project.
• Organising and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
• Assembling and coordinating project team members (i.e. assigning individual responsibilities).
• Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate the selection of project services and products.
• Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate preferably has a background in engineering, as this will help when it comes to interacting with both technical team members and business stakeholders.
To be our next IT Project Manager, you should also meet the following requirements:
• Experience performing and leading projects while applying an agile work methodology.
• Strong understanding of IT with underlying technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is our corporate language).
• A service mindset that conveys a sense of urgency in everything you do.
