Context
The IT team at International IDEA, operating from Stockholm, Sweden under the Executive Division, provides essential technical support that is fundamental to the organization's operations and strategic initiatives. The performance of the IT team, exemplifying integrity and technical proficiency, is critical to the reputation and effectiveness within the organization. They adhere strictly to organizational standards and regulations, contributing significantly to the seamless operation of the Executive Division. The team works collaboratively, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of technical expertise across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and administer Office 365 tenants, including user provisioning, license management, and access controls.
Provide technical expertise on Microsoft 365 services: Microsoft SharePoint (Metis), Teams, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, Multi-factor Authentication, and Single Sign On for business applications including ERP.
Implement security projects and operational measures within the native cloud and Windows environment, leveraging the E5 suite of tools for advanced security features.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of MS 365 services.
Work with IT Manager to conduct regular security assessments, address vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Research various service desk requests and incidents, their cause and effects to troubleshoot, resolve, and documents specific internal incidents and/or breaches within established SLAs;
Tests and evaluates existing network systems; Troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and internet-based systems and liaises with managed service provider for performance monitoring of managed network services;
Performs technical research on technical issues, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support;
Supports development and implementation of new computer projects and supervises contract-based installations;
Develops Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), leads the review process and analyzes responses to make informed recommendations to senior leadership on IT business solutions;
Prepares evaluations of software or hardware and recommends improvements or upgrades; Assists with the installation of new hardware as required for new users or network/system upgrades;
Support the development of training materials and procedures, and trains users in the correct use of hardware and software; Assists with the creation and maintenance of documentation relating to ICT services and procedures;
Contribute to the development and enhancement of IT policies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements;
Refers major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service;
Maintains the ICT asset register, ensures all assets are tagged and accurately recorded; Facilitates receipt or discarding of ICT hardware; Helps maintain necessary stock levels of standby computers, phones and accessories; Helps maintain an orderly ICT storage room;
Liaises with service providers and local IT service providers at regional offices to provide support to end users on computer operations and communication tools; Monitors the status of service requests to ensure timely response times;
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and develop appropriately configured solutions that meet those needs while maintaining alignment with overall IT standards and principles.;
Lead or participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the technical capabilities of the IT team;
Provides IT and Logistics support to key events; Assists in conferencing services on audio, video conferencing, and data services;

Reporting line
IT Manager

Education and Experience
University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Studies or related field;
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a similar role, in supporting desktop software and tools and managing a windows-network environment;
IT certifications, preferably Microsoft 365 Certification track considered an advantage;
Experience supporting computer-networked environments, cloud applications e.g., Office 365 and cloud based communication tools e.g.; CISO WebEx; Zoom and MS Teams
Experience in supporting mobile devices and applications for different platforms;
Experience in the administration and configuration for Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Azure AD in native environment, and Azure AD design, development, networking and integration;

Terms of Contract
Local Post.
Fixed term appointment for Two (2) years.
Remuneration - Approx SEK 44 017 (Gross) per month

Please note as this is a local post, International IDEA will bear no costs relating to the relocation of the selected candidate to the duty station. This position is open to those legally authorized to live and work in Sweden for the duration of the contract. International IDEA is not able to support work permit applications.
