Role Summary
Are you ready to lead and innovate at the intersection of IT and production? Join Scania as an IT Manager for Engine Manufacturing and Foundry and drive our transformation journey!
In this role, you will be an integral part of both the IT and production unit management teams. You will contribute to setting the direction and strategic plan for both IT and the production unit and implement it. You will also support the production unit in their transformation journey, driving and supporting both management teams to ensure continuous development. You and your team will be responsible for securing daily operations and maintaining the current IT landscape lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include:
Strategic Development: Actively contribute to and focus on cross-collaboration and strategic development within both IT and production management teams.
Vision and Direction: Contribute to both IT and the production unit vision, creating prerequisites for a flow-oriented way of working that improves day-to-day deliveries and secures the cross-functional E2E perspective.
Digital Solutions: Proactively identify business needs and translate them into digital solutions.
Team Leadership: Coach the team, inspire continuous improvement, and ensure the team's competence development in new technologies.
Cost Management: Actively challenge IT costs to ensure maximum value.

We are looking for an experienced manager with relevant education or experience in production and/or IT. You should have a deep understanding of direction, be able to explain the "why," transform in the desired direction and drive game-changing assignments. This Is Us
Today, we are approximately 70 employees distributed in 6 team where 5 of the teams are in Södertälje and 1 in Luleå. We are now searching for our new colleague who is curious to take on this challenging and exiting position as IT manager for the Engine manufacturing and foundry IT team.
The team responsible for IT deliveries within the Engine manufacturing and foundry, have many ongoing and upcoming initiatives driven by new business models and Industry 4.0. We will also implement a new ERP system to modernize our system landscape and support the growing business demands. This requires an experienced manager who has the ability and motivation to manage a complex IT delivery, which takes place both locally and globally. To secure the high load of IT demands, the IT delivery have both own IT development and managed service set ups.
