The IT Integrator at Stockholm International School supports the Integration of Technology into the Curriculum and the use of it in the classroom.

General Responsibilities:

• Works primarily with teachers to assist them integrate technology into the curriculum and support the use of technology in classroom.
• Provides support and guidance for teachers while curriculum planning either at grade level or departmental meetings.
• Facilitates the sharing of IT resources among the teaching staff.
• Liaises with the IT Manager/s for the supply, coordination and management of the schools teaching resources, software and applications.

Technology Integration:

• Weekly schedule of planning meetings with groups of teachers in IPC, MYP and DP
• Coordinating monthly meetings with the IT Key Teachers to share and discuss ideas and resources for the use of technology in the classroom.

Technology Support:

• Assist the IT Manager/s with the implementation of the iPad program in the Primary School and the 1-1 program in the Secondary School.
• General IT classroom support for Teachers

Instructional Responsibilities:

• Host sessions with groups of staff to introduce and share new IT resources
• Instructional sessions with groups of students to introduce new IT resources

Qualifications, Attributes and Experience:

• Educated in IT Teaching and/or eLearning
• Experience working with Technology in an Education environment
• Knowledge of International curriculums and/or the IPC and IB programs
• Proficient in the use of Basic Office applications
• Good working knowledge of Multimedia Software
• Keen understanding of Web2.0 tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to perform all tasks with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize work schedules by being self directed and motivated
• Aptitude to learn new computer packages and software upgrades
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work to deadlines
• A 'can do' attitude and be a 'hands-on' proactive team player
• Excellent oral and written language skills
