Mobile Arts AB is looking for two International System Deployment Engineers to work on deployment and integration of our Mobile Location Centre (MLC) in mobile telecom networks worldwide (Europe, Asia, Africa, Mid-East, Americas).
Responsibilities and tasks:
• System preparation before installation
• Hardware preparation on site
• Installation of operating system, Mobile Arts software and other third party software
• Integration of the Mobile Arts MLC with the mobile network and other external systems, such as network supervision systems, provisioning systems, charging systems. Integration includes troubleshooting and interoperability testing, i.e. helping the customer to identify problems in the network and fine-tuning of the Mobile Arts MLC
• System acceptance test execution
• System documentation (site-specific information)
• Training of customer personnel on how to operate the system
• Communication and coordination with customer personnel on site
• Support and maintenance of the deployed MLC systems (from Stockholm)
Qualifications/Experience:
• Minimum a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge in mobile network signalling protocols, including SS7
• Knowledge in IP network technology and topology
• Knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Knowledge of shell scripts, java scripts, tcpdump, wireshark
• Knowledge in the Erlang programming language (not mandatory)
Salary:
Negotiable based on experience, education and qualifications.
Location:
Stockholm, Sweden
The position by definition requires frequent travelling, which means that the candidate should enjoy travelling and be ready to spend several weeks at a time on different places around the world.
