Caspian Quality Service (CQS) provides Quality Services directly to buyers or indirectly through other quality service companies. CQS offers a variety of services such as inspection and expediting in the fields of oil and gas, marine and power generation. We specialize in inspection of various mechanical and electrical equipment. CQS's mission is to utilize its numerous local team members to provide superior services with a competitive price. With 24/7 support and prompt reporting CQS is determined to provide tailored services to its clients.
Inspector Role
You as an Inspector are going to plan and carry out inspections on different equipment mainly oil & gas related and report based on external regulations, standards and safety.
There is lots of travel involved for inspection in different cities in Scandinavia.
You will among other things be responsible for:
• Planning and implementation of inspections and surveys, and coordination of inspection and testing personnel.
• Issue the required reports and documentation.
• Quality Improvement
The service is part time (40%) and daytime with access as soon as possible.
Competence
In order to fit in the role you have relevant engineering education in the field of material science and engineering, alternative experience of inspection and expediting, preferably from quality, mechanical, and process industries.
You are certified welding inspector and are approved by Saudi Aramco in at least General mechanical, General NDT and Piping commodities.
You also have:
• Good knowledge of metallic materials and different degradation mechanisms.
• Good knowledge and practical experience of welding, DT & NDT methods.
• Good knowledge of piping and oil & gas codes, regulations, guidelines, standards.
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish and a good ability in report writing.
You are an independent, thorough and quality conscious person with great integrity and an interest in technology. You are committed to your work and can accomplish very short deadlines. Furthermore, you are outgoing and find it easy to connect with others.
