We are looking for a new member to our successful sales team where you will be given a key position and act as the link between our customers and the internal operations within Damco.
We offer a challenging position within the logistics area where you will be given the opportunity to work in a global environment and within a field that constantly is under development and need of change. The position will be located at our office in Arendal, Gothenburg.
Key responsibilities:
You will be given a key position within our sales team and act as the link between our customers and the internal operations within Damco.
Your responsibilities will among others be to:
• Support Damco Sales Team in quoting customers
• Assist with the preparation of RFIs (Request for Information), RFP (Request for Proposals), RFQ, (Request for Quotation).
• Monitor Communications (internal & external)
• Assist in preparing pre and post weekly sales reports
• Allocate sales leads with the sales team
• Perform telemarketing for potential clients as required
• Assist with the completion of the Account Transitions to CSO
• Support lead generation and qualification
Who are we looking for:
The ideal candidate is a person who is ready to take on the next step in his or hers career and a person who wants to continue the personnel development within sales and logistics. We believe you have a couple of years' experience from a similar sales position or from the freight forwarding industry.
We expect that you are a energetic and positive person driven by having contact with many people. We think you are a very good communicator in both Swedish and English in verbal and writing. The position places great demands on your ability to build trustworthy relationships both with our customers and internally within the company.
The work also requires that you are self-starter and that you take responsibility for the work you perform.
Of course, we also believe that you have a genuine interest in creating and doing business.
Driver's license is required for this position.
