Information Security Officer is an exciting role within Volvo Penta to support our digital transformation by leading and managing the Information Security initiatives and efforts at Volvo Penta to proactively reduce business risks from security related events.
As Information Security Officer you will be part of Volvo Penta Digital & IT organization and report to Volvo Penta Head of Data.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and drive the Volvo Penta information security function and set the information security vision and strategy for the organization
Act as the information security champion and support the organization with matters related to this topic
Adapt Volvo Group information security strategy, vision and initiatives to Volvo Penta's organization and needs
Increase and promote a security-positive culture through awareness training and education
Gather information and provide intelligence to stakeholders on new, and emerging, threats and laws and regulations that will affect Volvo Penta
Work with information risk management, build and maintain an information risk portfolio
Measure the information security status and report current security posture to relevant stakeholders
Support the organization in understanding and implementing security policies and processes
Represent Volvo Penta in Volvo Group information security management forums and collaboration
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Academic degree on Bachelor or Master level within IT, Cyber Security, Risk Management or equivalent
Multiple years of professional experience in the field of Cyber Security, IT Security or Information Security, preferably within Enterprise Information Security
Excellent understanding and proven experience of Information Security best practices, process design and implementation
Certification in CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or similar is preferable
Experience from working with relevant standards, e.g., ISO27001 or similar is preferable
Experience from working with data protection, e.g., GDPR or similar regulations is a merit
Experience of leadership and experience from the manufacturing industry is a merit
Good understanding on "new" technologies like IoT, block chain, AI, etc
Proficient in English, both verbal and written
