About the position
In this role you will drive and implement Indiska's sustainability, responsibility and quality work. You will also ensure that Indiska's sustainability strategy is followed and contributes to meeting the company's business and sustainability goals.
Main responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating and ensuring that the sustainability strategy is followed and contributes to meeting the company's business and sustainability goals as part of our business plan.
• Support to managers/functions to develop, drive and follow up Indiska's work in sustainability and quality.
• Monitor and be accountable for companies' sustainability commitments, reporting, internal and external partnerships, and investments in initiatives that help achieve the goals of the overall sustainability goals.
• Drive and coordinate initiatives related to the sustainability strategy cross functionally.
• Participate in the work with third-party certifications.
• Ensure that Indiska comply with EU regulations and laws in each country.
• Support and advise when choosing new suppliers.
• Social and Environmental Compliance of suppliers.
• Lead the development of Indiska's preferred material list.
• Represent Indiska in industry initiatives, forums and working groups.

Qualifications:
• University education with a degree in textile engineering.
• At least 3 years of work experience from a similar position.
• Strong understanding and knowledge in sustainability, responsibility and governance especially for the textile and retail industry. Special knowledge of chemical, water and climate related risks and opportunities.
• Documented successful experience in coordinating and managing projects and working cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to influence and catalyze change internally and externally.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes and supply chain factors that effect the organization's environmental impact.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Experience with standards, laws, regulations, policies, best practices, reporting frameworks relevant for the textile and retail industry.

Office based / Home based: Office based. It is possible to work remotely one day a week.
