Right now, we are looking for driven and talented people who will join us for a 6-month trainee program with the purpose of becoming our future stars in IKEA. You'll have a dedicated mentor that will guide you through the assignment and the organisation, and one of our main goals is that you'll learn a lot, but also that you will come with valuable insights that we can use to make IKEA better! The assignment is located in southern part of Sweden or in Delft, Netherlands.
We have trainee assignments within four exciting areas in the organisation:
• Planning - In this assignment you will contribute build up, deliver and serve data & technology capabilities for Inter IKEA Group and IKEA. You will be part of projects cutting across organisations and bridging technology with business needs. This includes connecting stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements, organising meetings and workshops, documenting project milestones and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders.
• Business Development - In this assignment you will be a contributor to designing and realising the direction for the IKEA operating model, describing how to get there in a common roadmap and bringing people together around the way forward across IKEA! This includes analysing, structuring and documenting data, working with scenario analysis and facilitating collaboration through workshops, meetings etc.
• People & Culture - You will, together with P&C network, contribute to the journey through building new organizational capabilities - enabling a leadership, competence and partnerships needed for the journey. The assignment is, as a start, coordinate and project lead P&C initiatives, for example keeping together the totality of the P&C initiatives and contribute to competence initiatives.
• Communication - You will, together with colleagues from across IKEA, contribute to development of inspiring, transparent, and inclusive communication for our IKEA leaders and co-workers - enabling people to come together on the journey IKEA is on! This could, but will not be limited to, include working with communication packages, events, development of internal communication channels, development of communication training programmes etc.
• Innovation - If your passion is to collaborate with different people, industries and companies to find new value solutions enjoy us in our innovation journey and help us to shape the future of IKEA. In this assignment you will help us to explore new solutions driven by data and technology and support the IKEA innovation team in the development of new ways of working.
