We are looking for a Strategic Product Manager (SPM) for our high-performance team. We are a multi-national team that identify need, design, select, build, and operate Digital and IT Solutions through which Ericsson group spend is managed for buying goods and services. We are accountable for a technology portfolio and a budget to deliver business capabilities that will keep the Sourcing function ahead of business needs.
We have steering responsibility to orchestrate a leap-frog digital transformation within the company for Sourcing & Procurement function. We started this journey with modernization of our legacy IT, and now starting to deploy latest cloud applications (for S2C, P2P) globally, while experimenting with new digital technologies like Mobile, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will be part of a team that is driving, in close partnership with business, digital transformation for end-t0-end Source-to-Pay process area for the Ericsson Group.
We are an independent unit, that belong to Solution Area Develop, Sell, Deliver (SA DSD) within Ericsson Group Digital Transformation and IT (DT&IT) organization. We run IT like a business. Role Summary:
While in this SPM role, you will manage assigned 3rd party or in-house IT products, services and/or portfolio(s), you are also expected to contribute into areas (e.g. digital experimentation, end-to-end process flows, capability architecture, digital foundation data model, etc.) that are cross applications, beyond individual portfolios.
Responsibilities:
• Define and manage strategy, roadmap and optimize portfolio Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Prepare, manage portfolio/product decisions, financials/ budgets and ensure portfolio execution plans
• Review new IT needs and flows with business, perform value argumentation, direct IT implementation, and manage governance, communication with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers, Delivery Managers, and IT supplier partners to meet portfolio deliverables
• Support the development of Sourcing & Procurement target capability architecture, information architecture and digital core
• Actively contribute and participate into unit/organization development activities
Key Qualifications:
• 7-10+ years of experience within Business Consulting, IT strategic management, IT project management, IT Business Management, IT Delivery
• Functional knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, including IT, business and strategic experience within Source-to-Pay area
• Experience of delivering above-stated responsibilities within a global set-up
Additional Requirements:
• Work Experience from global IT-driven business transformation programs, preferably from Source-to-Pay related change programs
• Working knowledge of IT trends, practices, supplier market (e.g. SAP Ariba, SAP MM, Emptoris, Bravo Solutions, Ivalua, Coupa etc.) and solutions (e.g. Strategic Sourcing, P2P or Procurement, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Spend Analysis, etc.)
• Standard IT processes (SDLC), tools and infrastructure experience
• Experience in managing large projects and teams
