JOB DESCRIPTION
Kongsberg Maritime AB in Kristinehamn are currently looking for two similar profiles, where technical design and hydraulics are the key elements. In the role of Application/Design Engineer, your primary focus will be technical design and writing instructions in collaboration with technical support. Meanwhile, the role of Technical Sales Support will emphasize upgrades of existing customer products. We are open to hire experienced or recently graduated team members. If you are new to hydraulics and genuinely interested to develop your career in this field, we will provide you with relevant training needed to succeed in either of these roles.
Application/Design Engineer:
This position focusses on technical design and drawing while working as part of a multi-skilled technical department with multiple internal department points of contact.
Technical Sales Support:
This position focusses on upgrades of existing customer products. Working within Kongsberg's Global Customer Suport (GCS) Division you prepare the technical foundation for prices and quotations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
To succeed in either of these positions, we prefer you have a degree in Engineering, Hydraulics, Mechanical or relevant field in addition to industry work experience in hydraulics. If you have acquired the corresponding competence through experience and/or built on it with courses in hydraulics, you are equally welcome to apply. Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent computer-aided design software is required for this position.

In these positions collaboration is key to succeed, therefore we value your personal characteristics highly and your ability to co-operate well with others, communicate clearly, share knowledge, and support your colleagues in the pursuit of team goals. Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, high level of English, both written and oral, is important.
Since we are a company working with customers in the Naval segment, this employment is security classified and questions related to citizenship will be part of the selection process.
