HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems. In this role you will monitor and maintain the HVDC documentation processes and be a senior support to the project resources regarding documentation processes and the documentation delivery to customers. Work pro-actively with documentation process adherence and quality in projects, with focus on training and communication to interfacing functions and the documentation delivery from our internal suppliers to meet the project milestones in our projects. You will join a team of four experienced Sr doc process specialists.
Your responsibilities
Senior support to HVDC project resources regarding documentation processes and the documentation delivery to customers
Governance of the HVDC documentation processes
Implement and maintain documentation management processes at HVDC Globally
Understand the organization's vision and demands and suggest improvements where you see them
Perform documentation process assessments. Follow up and report process adherence within the company
Provide training, coaching and support to individuals and teams for better knowledge and understanding of the documentation process and the documentation system
Ensure that documentation process charts, instructions, base and standards are updated
Implement, support and follow-up documentation processes within own department
Be updated on ISO/IEC standards and prepare activities connected to that - assessments, audits, instruction update etc
Prepare and participate in quality audits i.e. ISO standards etc

Your background
We are looking for a structured person who has a curious mind-set. You have clear leadership qualities and like working in a team as well as independently. Moreover, you are responsive and customer oriented and can see the opportunities in your work. You have system-related experience and an interest in new technology
Proactivity, ownership and on-time delivery are key words that we put great value on
You hold a University degree in a relevant field or have equivalent experience in the area
2-5 years' experience with process- and quality work
Deep knowledge of ISO/IEC standards, past experience of any standardization work is advantageuos
Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt or higher certification
Experience from working in a document management system is essential
You are an engaged person who can speak up for your issues, and you manage the work in a forward direction
As you will be part of a global business, fluency in English and Swedish is required, written, and spoken alike. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
