hela Sverige We are now looking for a HR Manager for our plant in Arvika. The HR Manager reports to VP HR Operations and will be a member of the Plant Management Team and the European HR Team.
The Volvo Construction Equipment site for wheel loaders is located in Arvika in the middle of Sweden near the border to Norway. We are about 1100 dedicated employees are occupied with manufacturing and assembly of the Volvo wheel loaders L60-L350 as well as frames, attachment brackets and booms for wheel loaders
Main Responsibilities:
Together with the team of HR Business Partners provide the plant with guidance and support in all HR & communication related issues
As a member of the plant management team, assist in identifying HR-related issues that will influence the implementation of business strategy. Coach and challenge managers in strategic decision making utilizing the global/local HR processes
Implement and follow through initiatives from Corporate HR and the European HR Team
Ensure that the organization complies with employment laws and regulations and applicable Volvo Group policies as well as support the organization to ensure compliance and appropriate resolutions
Cooperate closely with all HR key personnel in the Service Delivery Model (SDM) to ensure effective joint delivery of HR services to the assigned organization and also continuous improvement of group HR policies and processes
Provides forward-looking counsel, coaching and creative solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance
Required Competencies and skills:
University degree in Human Resources and at least 5 years of progressive HR experience
Previous leadership experience
Understanding of and interest in business fundamentals and manufacturing
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted initiatives and strength in implementation skills
Define the business drivers for change management
Demonstrate understanding of employment laws, solid analytical skills and ability to solve problems quickly and creatively. Negotiation Skills: ability to communicate contractual obligations
Business Cycle Management: understanding of workforce mobility, workforce flexibility and workforce planning
High levels of credibility and able to forge solid and positive professional relationships at all levels of the organization through the use of tact, diplomacy and discretion
Strong communicator with good verbal and written skills towards all level (management to employee level), including an excellent level of written and spoken English and Swedish
Industrial & manufacturing experience is an advantage
