This is your chance to take the next step in your HR career at OUTOKUMPU. In this role, you are a strategic partner for the global success of our employees.
As a member of our Mill Management Team in Avesta and part of the Swedish HR BP Team, you are a trusted partner to managers in executive as well as strategic tasks. Examples of these include organizational and leadership development, workforce planning, collaboration with unions, and implementation of new ways of working.
Furthermore, you are not only a key contact for managers with local or expatriate contracts but also act as the bridge towards our service partners (e.g. in topics such as payroll, talent development).
Main responsibilities
Translate the respective business strategy into an HR plan in own area
Act as a trusted sparring partner and advisor for the business and relevant management team in people matters
Ensure clear alignment of people processes within own area (a whole site or region)
Ensure that the business is appropriately resourced for current and future needs by strategic and tactical workforce planning and recruitment
Ensure consistent application of the reward policies and processes
Ensure holistic talent review of key resources to determine performance vs. potential, succession, and young talents
Identify and develop the right capabilities and competencies for future business needs
Drive change initiatives from HR's point-of-view
Advise and give input to development programs within Outokumpu
Cooperate in a trustworthy manner with respective Works Councils and unions
About you
We believe that you are an excellent communicator with experience in leading other people and organizations through change. You are confident in your expertise, can negotiate well, and know how to create mutually beneficial agreements.

Further qualifications:
Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in HR
Over 5 years of HR or business leader experience
Experience as HR Business Partner in industrial operations
Fluent in English and Swedish
Knowledge of Swedish labor law
