Place of action
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Saab's Product Area, Surveillance Solutions, SSO, has been asked to support the operationof the ordered Saab 2000 ERIEYE AEW&C to a Middle East country.
This is a major undertaking for Saab and we need to appoint a number of technical and administrative positions on site in the country capital.
Saab is assisting the customer in establishing a Maintenance organization including logistics functions for the Saab 2000 aircraft system and we need to employ a ILS Expert located at the Air force Head Quarters who will assist the customer in all ILS issues.
Your future challenge
is to be the customer’s prime contact on HQ level regarding all ILS matters.
You will handle both real time ILS planning and strategic ILS matters and the primary function is to be able to solve or answer any ILS questions/actions raised by the customer and to develop and maintain good customer satisfaction.
You will be stationed in the country's capital city for 1-3 years employed and seconded by Saab AB.
Todays demand
You are an experienced ILS Manager well aquainted with both the Saab 2000 AEW concept and Saab procurement and purchasing process including IP/Spares process.
You carry an extensive knowledge of material logitics including import/export regulations with the capability to transfer your know how and experience even in an inmature work environment.
You have a strong business mindset with the capability to establish and maintain a steady professional relationsship with high rank customer officials.
Leadership in an international environment and experience of working in the Middle East is also favorable as well as exceptional social skills including focus on customer needs.
You are eager to embrace new cultures, non judgemental, tolerant and understand the need to be flexible knowing when to step forward and when to yield.
