We are now in search for a highly dedicated and experienced person to embrace the role Head of Scania Academy

Main Responsibilities
As the Head of Scania Academy you will be responsible for the delivery of first class, pro-active learning and competence development services for Scania. You will report to the Executive Vice President of Human Resources and be part of the HR Management Team. You will be responsible of all aspects of managing Scania Academy, consisting of approximately 100 employees, in daily operations and coach and lead the functional managers in your organisation. The focus is to, drive change & quality training in line with the business needs to improve performance, maximising colleague engagement and developing Scania's employees.

Your assignment will further include:

To support the organisation with sustainable, innovative and digitalized ways-of-working securing the right competence at the right time and place to reach Scania's goals.
Implement working methods supporting our competence development process
Ensure that the team's performance and engagement is maintained at a high level through objective setting and personal development.
Build partnerships across the business to create and promote learning and professional development opportunities.
Liaise with Managers to ensure all training programmes deliver the skills to support the business strategy and closes key gaps.

Qualifications:

Experienced leader with proven record
University degree in relevant discipline (Business, Human Resources) or equivalent experience
Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering results
Preferably knowledge and work experience in the field of learning and competence
International experience is a merit
Fluent in English, Swedish and German is valuable

Personal qualities:

Structured and well planned
Strategic, analytical thinking and business/performance driven
Ability to drive change
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as well as high ability to create trust
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate teams
