Mediatec Broadcast is one of Europe's leading companies within the Outside Broadcast (OB). The core business consists of live television production with a focus on technology and personnel delivery.
Since April 1, 2015 Mediatec Broadcast carries out daily OB-activities in Abu Dhabi and in connection with the development of this business, we are seeking a Head of Mediatec Broadcast's activities in Abu Dhabi.
Duties
The service includes a primary responsibility for Mediatec Broadcast operations in Abu Dhabi. The service involves overall responsibility in the following areas: sales and customer relations, agreements and collaborations, sourcing and organization.
This position is located in Stockholm but includes regular trips to Abu Dhabi and neighbouring countries.
Profile
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of operations in Broadcast.
The service includes a large overall responsibility that demands a broad and extensive experience in the OB-business area: technical knowledge, production skills, project management, budgeting and personnel are important experiences as well as to meet the linguistic requirements.
Eligible applicants
• Technical training at university level
• Extensive and varied experience in broadcast for minimum 10 years
• Fluent in Arabic and English
