Global integrated business planning is responsible for the Forecast and planning process and the Order-to-cash process including Order management. Our mission is to increase the flow efficiency E2E within Scania's product delivery process, while utilizing the available resources in the best possible way.
As Head of Global Volume Planning you are globally responsible for analysing and evaluating the market volume demand for Trucks, Buses & Coaches and Engines.
We are now looking for a new Manager to lead the team and to prepare the business for the future. If you would like to have a great insight into the company's performance this is the place for you!
Work Description
As our new Head of Global Volume Planning you will be highly involved in one of Scania's currently highest prioritized processes. You will be part of the Operational planning management team and report to the Head of Operational planning.
Your main responsibilities will be taking volume planning to the next level. You will have an important role in driving the development of the whole "end-to-end perspective" from a cross-functional view, as well as for your specific part of the flow. From setting the direction forward, to ensuring that the right activities, priorities, projects, IT systems etc. are in place as well as processing the information we have today in a value-adding way.
Other tasks involve analyses and reports to Scania's management and board, active participation in different projects related to improving processes and tools as well as operational issues connected to order allocations and informational pulse meetings.
The position will give you a wide contact network at all levels of the company and therefore communication skills and a service-minded approach are important.
Your Profile
You inspire and engage people as a leader, are confident and make sure we succeed together as a team. You have experience in different leadership roles and from management team work. You have a genuine interest in understanding the business and want to learn more about flow efficiency and how you can contribute to increasing that at Scania. You have a successful experience from leading change in complex conditions and become energized by challenges.
To explain and communicate complex matters easily and understandably is key to success and you are a good communicator and contributor to a learning organisation. Experience working with order processes, flows and volume planning is a requirement for this position, as well as a relevant academic degree.
