About the role
Our gaming platform handles millions of transactions every day. It serves 70+ customers, running more than 100 game titles. Our development teams are creating this mean machine as well as the blockbuster game productions that have become so popular across Europe. Our teams are international, spread across locations and highly skilled. We have colorful artists, sharp developers, clever QA-specialists and a range of other passionate team members - all in a creative melting pot. Our offices are vibrant. We have game teams located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Kiev and India.
This means:
As Head of Game Development you will manage all of our game studios around the world (about 200 + people). You’ll play an active part in the future of our business and development. You’ll be responsible for ensuring both current and future innovative, high quality and cost efficient game development.
The role works tightly with our product owners to determine future roadmaps and ensure that we have the right teams to deliver on them. You will also take part in ensuring that we have the right partners and the right technology to keep delivering on our commitments. As part of the development management team you will cooperate with all different parts of the company, making sure all our development runs smoothly. You’ll report directly to our chief development officer.
Your background
To excel in this role, you have a broad leadership experience, an understanding for what motivates people and a passion for games.
We believe your profile includes:
Several years of documented experience of leadership and management.
A history of building highly efficient teams
Truly agile thinking
Substantial experience of managing managers
Extensive experience of game production or simular scope
Several years of experience from working in an international environment with offices and partners around the world
Since our working environment is truly international a high proficiency in English, written and oral, paired with skills in clear effective communication is a must.
