The People and Organizational development function across H&M Group has developed new ways of working together to be fit for purpose and meet current and future business needs. As a vital part of this, a Community of Expertise (CoE) has been created, with the aim to create value from a cross-functional perspective within the area. We are now looking for our new Head of Employer Branding to join us!
Job Description
In the role as Head of Employer Branding, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and securing the execution of all H&M Group employer branding activities across all brands and functions for the entire global organization which contains of 59 online markets and stores in 76 markets with a total of 170 000 employees worldwide. You will be the main speaking partner for key stakeholders such as Culture & Values, Brands, and Group Communications leadership. An important part of your work will be to consult and coach brands and ventures in H&M Group on their EB strategies, ensuring they are connected to the EB strategy for the whole H&M Group, and support our shared Colleague Strategy. Additionally, you will act as strategic support within EB for different stakeholders within the H&M Group, including the top management of the organization. You will work cross functionally with tight collaboration with for example the Head of Talen Acquisition and Head of Talent Management.
Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate the work with developing and maintaining a relevant EB strategy for all brands within the H&M Group
Directly manage the global employer brand leadership team (consisting of 3 managers and a total of 13 people) and functionally lead all employer branding efforts across our markets
Communicate the strategic vision, scope, priorities, processes, frameworks, systems, and tools linked to Employer Branding for the H&M Group
Ensure stakeholders have relevant competence, knowledge, and support regarding Employer Branding
Be part of change- and strategic initiatives where EB expertise is needed. Provide analysis and advice in solutions.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a very strong expertise in the Employer Branding field (10-15 years) at least partly acquired within large and complex organizations. Experience in companies with a strong and recognizable consumer brand will add even more value. Leadership experience is also critical, in particular having managed other managers, since the role steers the work of a fairly large team through 3 managers as direct reports.
Besides your background, to truly succeed you must display a natural ability to navigate ambiguous and rapidly changing situations while keeping a clear focus on long-term ambitions. A business-minded approach and strong strategic thinking skills are also crucial, as you will be responsible for developing innovative strategies that drive growth and must always be in lockstep to the priorities of our business. Finally, you will need a high degree of learning agility. Being able to understand complex patterns, learn from feedback and mistakes, and constantly improving ourselves. English is our company language which makes it important to be fluent both in writing and orally.
Additional Information
This is full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Stockholm, where you will report to the Head of the CoE.
