We are looking for a Head of controlling for H&M Brand Development to help us accelerate on our journey to turn around the brand value.
Job Description
As Head of Controlling for H&M Brand Development, you are a close partner to the Global Brand Director, the Global Creative Director and work in close collaboration with H&M Controlling Manager. Your role will be to translate the brand strategy and priorities into an investment strategy for growing the brand value globally, and for marketing budgets within Business Units and regions. You are accountable for setting, orchestrating and tracking the global advertising budget of the H&M brand. You proactively provide the organization and stakeholders with business and financial analysis, insights and direction to support the overall steering of the brand and the Brand Development function. You collaborate with colleagues from Business Units, regions and other central functions. You are accountable for leading and motivating the Brand Development controlling team to reach their goals and optimize the quality of controlling. Currently, the controlling team is composed of 3 direct reports and one dotted line report working in the media team.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Oversee, set, and orchestrate the global marketing budget for the H&M brand and the Brand Development Department.
Develop and implement globally a new budget process to empower BUs and regions that starts from overall business goals and a "zero based" approach rather than last year base.
Be a strategic partner to the Global Brand Director and contribute to the development of our brand strategy (business, priorities, identifying growth opportunities, looking at short and long term horizons).
Implement a data driven approach & structure to track performance of our marketing investments across Brand Development, BU marketing, Regional Customer Activation & Marketing, in collaboration with the marketing measurement team.
Operationalize the utilization of our measurement tools (Marketing Mix Modelling, market penetration model etc...) in our financial processes.
Build a collaborative network with regional, BU and CX&S controllers.
Recommend and contribute to development of business cases to help us reach our goals.
Contribute to the transformation and constant improvement of the Brand Development function.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role that you take responsible decisions based on both consumer and the brand. You safeguard the brand health to reach our long-term goals while securing that we deliver day in day out in the short term. You can communicate knowledge, insights and conclusions in direct and clear manner to enable fast and relevant decisions.
Additionally, we see that you have:
At least 7 years of relevant business experience and previous experience from roles within Business controlling, Financial planning, CFO roles or equivalent
A higher degree in business, economics or other relevant area
Strategic thinking with ability to analyze data and insights in a holistic way to come up with strategic recommendations.
Leadership skills with ability to set a clear vision and to define actions and engage an organization to reach the goals.
Preferably experience from different parts of the H&M group organization
Experience and knowledge of H&M internal financial system processes and structures
Great communication and collaboration skills.
Strong ability in internal and external stakeholder management.
Strong analytical ability and great knowledge in Excel and Power BI
Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Additional Information
This is a fulltime assignment starting as soon as possible, based in Stockholm and you will report to Global Brand Director of H&M.
