Responsibilities

The Head of Contract & Risk Management, and the team, is the prime contact for CGIS Sales teams and other CGIS teams according to his / her area of responsibility in all contractual matters. The Head of C&R Management is responsible for:

Providing first line advice and guidance to CGIS business with customers and subcontractors ? both Pre-Sales and Project Management - by participating in negotiations and drafting of agreements and other contractual instruments such as offers, proposals, change orders, amendments and claims;

Ensure support to CU/KAM in the handing over of the signed agreements and other contractual instruments between the Sales and the Delivery teams so that the project has access to accurate and correct information regarding the contracts affecting its work;

Secure we monitor contract execution including the analysis of contract requirements (e.g. project deliverables, whether provided directly by Ericsson or indirectly through its subcontractors, and associated payments), identification of areas of non-conformance and management of remedial actions, which may consist in the establishment of change requests and claims, for risks mitigation and successful project completion, and excluding operational tasks which are under the responsibility of the project manager;

When negotiating, drafting and commenting on contracts and other instruments, providing advice and guidance for minimization of risks through contractual mechanisms in order to ensure that the contracts are addressing the relevant business objectives, are back-to-back with the relevant customer agreements (and vice versa as applicable), are unambiguous and avoid unnecessary costs;

Handling contacts with and instruct local external legal counsels and coordinate contacts with Ericsson in-house lawyers both within CGIS and with Group Function Legal Affairs

Responsible for setting and deploy guidelines and checklists within CGIS of how to deal with contractual matters, authorizations to submit and sign binding agreements and appropriate risk exposure eliminations, and proactively developing processes and working methods by standardizing contractual work and establishing effective tools in alignment with the needs of the CGIS business environment;

Ensure professionally performed contract analysis for CGIS business reporting;

Providing information and guidance on the implementation of Group policies and directives;

Knowledge and Experience required:

Education

• University degree in Economics/Business or Telecoms/IT

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience from a Contract Management role

Competencies

• Genuine understanding of the operators, service provider environment as well as the business fundamentals of mobile network operators
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proven track record from Contract Management
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Commercial experience and understanding
• Financial knowledge and analytical skills
• Risk management understanding and experience
• Strong people management skills
• Good appreciation of operational and financial issues
• Strong contractual and business law awareness
• Highly developed knowledge and skills in leadership, communications, managing change and cultural awareness.
