The Head of Business Finance main responsibility is to pro-actively support the Region Finance Head and management team to reach both short term and long term financial targets with the objective of creating value for Ericsson. This position reports to the Head of Region Business Finance, and is a member of the global Region Business Finance Leadership Team. This is a senior leadership position that shall actively participate & contribute with rest of LT in guiding overall Business Finance strategy, performance & execution.The Head of Business Finance in the region is responsible to provide direction, coaching, prioritization, collaboration, staffing, competence, performance, motivation and measurements, of their team; to secure the goals are met. In addition, the manager will have additional operational responsibilities in support of the overall strategy.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Financial Performance Management
Deliver financial services and advice to stakeholders
Manage financial processes
Secure the timely and accurate analysis of financial targets, financial trends and forecasts.
Provide key stakeholders e.g. Region Finance Head with advice on the financial implications of business activities, by interpreting and explaining performance within the business
Supporting and influencing key operational and financial strategic decisions, with an understanding of the market, industry, competitor and economic context
Risk and Compliance management
Ensure that effective internal controls for the unit, are executed upon
Secure compliance with company policies and directives and managing financial risk for the unit
Leadership and Professional Growth
Be an ambassador and driver of One Finance within the unit
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Create a and drive a high performing global Business Finance team
Drive change management
Act according to the Ericsson Leadership Framework and promote the corporate values, ethics and culture of the organization in order to ensure excellent performance.
