As a Verification Engineer in the Elekta Neuroscience R&D Departement, you will work in close collaboration with the design team, developing cutting edge solutions for minimally invasive treatment of challenging cancers and brain disorders. This field requires verification of our new product versions covering software for medical image analysis, hardware for neurosurgical techniques, and much more. You will be involved in all phases of the verification process covering planning, specification, monitoring and reporting of the verification results. The daily work also includes risk analysis, configuration management and requirements tracking.

Qualifications and requirements
You have a Master of Science or a Technical University degree in Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or another orientation including some relevant courses combined with a genuine interest for design verification and test case design. You have excellent command of English in speech and writing and working knowledge of Swedish. In addition, it is qualifying if you have some knowledge of CAD or statistics.

We are looking for a practical as well as an analytical candidate who is thorough and flexible in the everyday work. You are an excellent team-player who will work efficiently in a multi-tasking and international environment.
Further details
This is a full time permanent employment. Start date is as soon as possible. To begin with, you will be employed by Hero and work as a consultant at Elekta's corporate headquarters in Stockholm. After six months, if your job performance is sufficient, you will be recruited by Elekta.
