Group Manager Moving Parts
This team works with Cam shafts, Valve mechanism and Belt transmission. Crank shaft, conrods, pistons cylinder liners, gear transmission.....We offer a very broad design responsibility from in-house designed cam shafts (and produced) to supplier developed valves. Moving Parts consists of component engineers, global component engineers and system engineers. Moving Parts team will play a major role in our future engines there work will have an impact on emissions, fuel reduction and engine brake performance.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As the group manager you have the privilege to manage a team of high professionals in a truly global environment. Our suppliers as well as our sites are distributed on several continents.
In this role you are expected to contribute to and drive initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to influence processes and way of working in the Base Engine and Materials technology management team.
• Continuous improvement of process and delivered services.
• Promote and develop methodology supporting System engineering, system testing, simulation tools with a theoretical approach.
• Responsible for groups deliveries.
• Inspire and coach the members in your team.
• Team development and continuous improvement activities.

Profile:
You have an open and positive attitude, drive to improve yourself and the group, you are a frequent communicator, and have courage and confidence to give and take feedback
As a leader you lead by example in terms of attitude, global networking, service and you support your team to perform at their best.
Qualifications:
• Managerial or leadership experience.
• Technical education: MSc or equivalent.
• Previous experience from component development and/or system simulation is a merit.
• Product knowledge of the Heavy Duty Engine platform is an advantage, but not a must.
• Proficient in English language.
