Role Summary
Learning and growth are two of the absolute fundamentals for Scania to be the leader in driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system. At Scania Academy, our mission is to work with continuous learning and competence development to support Scania's transformation.
We are now looking for a group manager to the Industrial Training Team. In this role you will lead a group of Industrial Trainers.
The Industrial Training Team offers trainings within Scania Production System (SPS). SPS is based on our shared values, principles and methods which together define how we should conduct our operations in an efficient and sustainable manner. We are also responsible for training new employees within production and logistic. The main training programs include introduction training for blue-collar workers and SPS training for support functions and leaders within PPL (Procurement, Production, Logistics). The team consists of six employees and as their manager, one of your most important tasks is to give your team the conditions to develop and grow.
Job Responsibilities
You will coach and support your team to deliver and develop trainings to maximize business value.
You will plan, organize, and develop trainings in cooperation with course owners, stakeholders and Scania Academy.
You will also act as the main contact for training globally and play an important role in the strategic work.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with a strong passion for competence development and a firm belief that investing in people is a key success factor for Scania. You should have the ability to motivate, engage, and develop your team while demonstrating solid leadership qualities and a hands-on approach. A strong understanding and interest in SPS, Scania Way, and Lean principles are essential, along with the ability to navigate between strategic and operational tasks. Your communication style should be open and transparent, allowing you to maintain a close dialogue with stakeholders.
Fluency in both Swedish and English is required, as well as a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge.

You can effectively lead both yourself and others and you should be prepared to work in a global setting, collaborating with others and working as part of a team. You have a mindset focused on delivering continuous value, you are self-driven, responsible, and proactive. We are looking for someone with leadership experience, preferably from a managerial role. Experience within production or logistics at Scania or one of the TRATON brands is valuable, as well as a background in learning and development.
