Who are we
We in the management team for Supplier Quality "Cab, Electronics and Customized Solutions" will be five persons when you come on board. All group managers are responsible for different technical areas.
The team that you will be leading consists of six supplier quality engineers within the power supply and electrification. They are responsible for releasing production processes at suppliers, contributing to supplier selections, and working with long-term supplier development, including supplier escalations.
Supplier Quality is part of Scania's purchasing department and we cooperate very closely with our purchasing colleagues. This gives us strength in sharing experiences and knowledge.

You are preferably working as a group manager or similar today and with a background in quality assurance or engineering, you are well fit for the role.
Knowledge of Scania processes from quality, engineering, or purchasing is meritorious. We believe you have good skills in listening, coaching and encouraging individuals and teams, which would match our way of working.
Your team supports areas with new technology where we cannot always follow the beaten path. We believe you are comfortable with both the following processes and make exceptions from them.
What you will do
You will lead and manage a team of experienced professionals that are responsible for ensuring that their suppliers meet Scania quality standards. My expectation is that you will support and develop your team as well as contribute with sharing knowledge and building long-term competence growth in our Supplier quality organization.

We offer
The position is located at the Scania Purchasing office in Södertälje Sweden. You plan your work independently, supported by well-defined processes, systems, standards, and great, helpful colleagues.
You will get a broad network within Scania and TRATON, to collaborate and develop way of working with. Since your team has suppliers both domestic and international, travelling will be part of your job as well. The need for travel is mainly decided by you and can usually be planned so it suits your situation.
