ESS is now looking for a Group Leader System Maintenance for the Facility Management Division organised within the Project Directorate. As a FM Group Leader System Maintenance, you will be part of the ESS Facility management team, leading and coordinating the activities in the sections in this group, the Electrical section, the Cooling section and Other installations section. The scope of these teams is to perform and plan for all maintenance of all building-related installations, such as electrical (HV, LV), process equipment (cooling, deionized water, compressed air), HVAC, sprinkler and fire systems, control & monitoring. These systems are to be implemented in the computer aided facility management system Infor EAM. You will have an important role in building a facility organisation that contribute to ESS' goal with a science facility with no interruptions.

Job description

Your main areas of responsibilities as a Facility Management Group Leader System Maintenance will be to:

• Be responsible for the management and coordination of the FM System Maintenance Group including the subsections Electrical, Cooling and Other Installations.
• Plan and coordinate FM's maintenance activities for installations on ESS site in order to manage requirements on an availability level of 99% for science.
• Support other FM Groups and other parts at ESS in design changes related to building installations.
• Ensure that installation work is quality controlled in accordance with the Performance Plan and that work is compliant and benchmarked to the relevant design and specifications.
• Ensure that all Environment, Occupational Health and Safety requirements of the project are communicated and implemented.
• Responsible for occupational health and safety as described in separate delegation for work environment as Line manager and Area responsible.
• Responsible for manning own organisation in collaboration with FM Head of Division.
• Owner of allocated risks as identified by the risk management procedure.

Qualifications

We think that the successful candidate has:

• Education in MS Civil Engineering or similar
• General knowledge of current legislation and regulations in the field of civil construction and design
• At least 10 years of experience in related roles at large and complex projects or facilities similar to ESS
• Experience with working in multi disciplines, coordinating work across a broad spectrum of different installations
• Experience from computer aided facility management systems like Infor EAM is an advantage

You have analytic and strategic skills and are able to see the big picture. You are good at prioritizing work for yourself and for others.

Excellent oral and written English skills are necessary. You have an eye for details and take great pride in maintaining a high level of quality in all the work you carry out. You have leadership skills and are interested in developing people and processes.

Duration & Location

The position is permanent with six months initial probationary period.

Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
