hela Sverige Hoist Finance is looking for a driven, self-motivated and experienced Group DPO to develop the function within the Group. The role offers a great opportunity to build a new data privacy framework that will be implemented throughout a growing international organisation.
This position relates for example to the following areas; European data protection regulation, data processing, data protection, information management, information security, privacy by design, privacy by default. (In Swedish; Dataskyddsförordningen, PUL, personuppgifter, personuppgiftsbehandling, dataskydd, informationssäkerhet, personuppgiftsombud, personuppgiftsansvarig.)
The role
The Group DPO will be overall responsible for overviewing data privacy matters throughout all countries within the Group and will report to Hoist Group CEO. As the Group DPO, you will work closely with other group functions within the Group and the Compliance team is an important part of the company. You will be based in Stockholm but the role demands frequent travel to the other countries throughout the Group.
Main areas of responsibility
As the Group DPO you will, amongst other, be responsible for the following tasks;
• Project manage the implementation of the new European Data Protection Regulation.
• Establish and maintain a group-wide structure for coordinating data privacy matters, including co-ordination with local operations via local data privacy officers.
• Establish detailed internal governance documents to support the implementation of external data privacy rules within the Group.
• Establish and maintain a compliance monitoring program for reviewing compliance with internal governance documents and external data privacy rules (within Hoist Finance as well as at third party data processors).
• Work closely with the business and the IT team to ensure that Group's information management takes into account relevant data privacy issues
• Ensure efficient implementation of data privacy regulations requirements at each of Hoist Finance's local operational sites.
Desired skills and experience
To be successful in this role you need to have a law degree from a European country or a degree in information technology. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of working experience. As a person you need to have a strong drive, high integrity, excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, both written and oral proficiency is of importance. Knowledge of additional languages is qualifying. It is of essence that you are able to adopt a pragmatic approach and use common sense to align the legal requirements with the needs of the business.
