The Patient and Post-Acute Care business category is responsible for a portfolio with current annual turnover exceeding 7 Billion SEK. We want to be the globally leading provider of healthcare solutions for people affected by reduced mobility within both Acute and Post-Acute care segments. Our products and solutions are sold worldwide and our organization is currently based in Europe, North America and Asia.
The position
In this position you will be overall responsible all go to market activities during the commercialization phase of new products and solutions, including:
• Driving launch readiness assessment process for launching countries
• Building a powerful and pertinent value proposition
• Securing successful launches with high impact through effectively engaging all stakeholders
• Defining, tracking and communicating launch success
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Acting as the global launch partner for selected product areas within Patient and Post-Acute Care business category
• Generating launch plans for new products and assisting in launch activities in the regions and key markets
• Working closely with other functional areas to manage the global product and program launches ensuring a timely and efficient process
• Working with regions to secure relevant and high quality sales tools, training and aftermarket support for product launches
• Collecting, challenging and securing final sales forecast for new product introductions
• Cross-functional project lead between production, regulatory and other marketing departments in connection with launch activities
• Acting as the catalyst and enabler between regions and with the PPAC BCU and systematically share good ideas and approaches
• Identifying and defining product portfolio gaps and feedback to PPAC Strategic Marketing and Solutions Management
• Providing sparring and coordination support on tenders on Group or regional level
The position is ideally based in Malmö, Sweden but for the right candidate it can also be based in San Antonio, TX, Magog, Quebec or Houghton Regis, UK. Since you will have a global scope, you should expect international travel, average 50% on an annual basis.
The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have a solid experience leading global launch execution in a regulated industry (ideally medtech or pharma). You probably have a masters level degree in business or marketing and have a distinctly business-driven mindset.
Some of your key characteristics include:
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience in Medical Devices, Consulting, or equivalent industries focusing on Go-to-Market strategies and execution
• Excellent communication skills, time management & project management skills and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of product strategy development, launch tactics and link to global strategy
• Effective relationship building across functions, levels and geographies.
• Capable of developing, presenting and gaining approval for key product/segment strategies at Senior management level
• High degree of creativity and intelligence. Excellent problem solving skills and analytical capabilities.
• Emotional maturity and ability to create change in an environment where the structure may evolve rapidly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform in an environment where sharing responsibility for success and failure of others on the team is critical to the overall success of the company
• Ability, talent, commitment and ambition to assume increased scopes of responsibility in organization
• Strong English both verbal and in writing is required
