Overview
In the journey to become best in class FMCG company, SCA would like to become more consumer/customer/shopper centric. Our vision for our Consumer and Customer Insight Team, is to move from traditional market researchers to business partners, delivering insights and foresights.
In order to help this transformation we are looking for a Global Shopper Insight manager to be part of the Global Hygiene Category (GHC). GHC leads SCA's hygiene brand portfolio and delivers brand development and innovation for our three business areas, Incontinence Care, Consumer Goods (Feminine, Baby and Consumer Tissue) and Professional Hygiene.
The positions will report to the Global Consumer Insight Director and will preferably be located in Gothenburg, Sweden (Munich, Germany is an alternative).
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensure our market research process is taking the shopper perspective into account.
Lead the plan for shopper research, oversee understanding and creation of shopper insights and provide recommendation to develop and grow the business.
Coordinate Information Sharing with others. Animate the shopper network, ensuring communication in both direction and helping local insight to become global.
Empower Consumer Goods GHC team to work effectively with the available tool in order to access market data. Suggest continuous improvement to current and future tools. Act as partner for/to Competitive intelligence for more complex matters, reports.
Support creation of category vision and drivers for all consumer goods categories.
Support development of pricing and promotional strategy with data analysis and guidance on shopper based promo effectiveness guidelines.
Required Education & Experience
University degree or equivalent in business, mathematics, marketing, statistics, sociology, psychology or other relevant academic field.
Minimum 4-7 years' experience of continuous research (retail panel, continuous panel).
Demonstrated ability to run shopper research both tactical and strategic.
Strong analytical and methodological competence
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Fluent in English, both written and oral
