As a Global S&OP Planner, you will support the BioProcess Resins & Technologies Franchise and report to the Global S&OP leader for the Resins franchise.
What you'll do
Support the Sales and Operations Planning processes for BioProcess Resins & Technologies franchise. Develop the process of creating and consolidating global forecasts. Lead monthly Demand reviews with the Product Management Teams and the regional Demand Planning teams. Conduct Routine Demand analysis and report forecast changes and drivers. Ensure long-term sales forecasts are maintained in the Demand planning system and communicated in BMR reviews.
Develop optimized & efficient methods and tools to execute monthly reviews
Represent the Global S&OP team in reviews with stakeholders; bringing insight and analysis to support improvement in areas such as sales, product management, inventory, Demand planning and manufacturing.
Participate in developing performance review processes. Ensure rigorous process in place for the measurement, root cause analysis and continuous improvement of key performance indicators.
Drive processes to ensure clear communication around supply & demand in close relationship with the regional and Global S&OP teams. Analyse supply performance and work with stakeholders to manage supply disruptions.
Participate in (and lead where required) processes aimed at balancing supply and demand. There include prioritization and allocation processes. Identification and communication of any supply constraints with the site. Relevant analysis to support effective business decision-taking
Data maintenance and support: including support for product Life Cycle Management maintenance, review and update of stock replenishment parameters, making recommendation on stocking policies.
Collaboration with the broader S&OP team to help share and implement best practice.
Who you are
Bachelor's degree. Minimum 5 years' experience Supply Chain / Demand Planning or related field.
Very strong analytical skills, able to deal with large amount of data, in multiple formats and from different sources, consolidating all data and showing ability to identify and prioritize focus areas.
Good working knowledge of adjacent supply chain planning and fulfilment process including production planning, network planning and replenishment, order to cash process
Knowledge of Demand Planning systems - SAP - APO, Demantra or other.
Affinity to systems and use of computers/software. Good Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential. Good sills with Power Query / Power BI / Tableau are a plus
Proficient in statistical forecast with good understanding of standard deviation, probability distributions
Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details.
Ability to communicate effectively at various organizational levels
Stakeholder management skills and experience in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.
A team player, willing to go the extra mile.
Available for some international travel based on specific ad-hoc business needs
