We are seeking a Global Product Manager Mixers with responsibility for a portfolio of mixers in the segment Biological Treatment. Xylem is the market leader in the area why you will play a significant role in Xylems future market position.
The Role
As Global Product Manager Mixers you are responsible for the entire mixer portfolio life-cycle and strategic planning. This includes driving profitable orders, sales, and margins within product lines. You partner with sales companies to ensure profit/ order/revenue targets are met.You actively seek new market opportunities, perform market and competitor analyzes and identify customer needs. As Global Product Manager you ensure that product strategy and road-map is in accordance with company goals, evolving customer needs and market /competitive dynamics.
As Global Product Manager you are responsible for defining and lead all aspects of product development/enhancements, innovations, and value engineering for the product line, and ensuring winning value propositions and marketing requirements & strategic pricing.
In collaboration with product specialists and marketing, you are responsible to provide marketing and technical support and training to Xylems sales companies. The role involves working closely with Xylems internal departments and sales companies but also with end-customers to ensure a sustainable and profitable growth.
As the role requires close contacts with the markets, extensive travelling, approx. 40%, is required in order to visit conferences, trade shows and sales companies and customers.
You will report to head of Product Management and desirable location is at Xylems office in Sundbyberg, Sweden.
Background and personal qualities
To be successful in this role you must have solid experience in the field of wastewater. You have a technical background combined with experience in strategic sales and/or marketing. A Bachelor's or a Master's degree and fluency in English, both written and oral, is essential.
We are looking for someone who can work independently and strategically and have good project management skills. You have a business focus and are outgoing with a positive attitude. You enjoy persuading and influencing others and have good interpersonal skills.
