& Other Stories is a fashion brand offering women a wide range of shoes, bags, accessories, beauty and ready-to-wear to create their personal style, or story. Our creative ateliers in Paris, Stockholm and Los Angeles design diversified fashion collections with great attention to detail and quality. For us there's no right or wrong when it comes to style, just possibilities and the joy of self-expression.
We currently have 74 stores on 22 markets and offer online selling on 34 markets through Stories.com and external partners. And we are growing! We are now looking for an excellent team player with great communication skills to join our PR & Communication team as PR Specialist in the Stockholm Atelier.
Job Description
As a PR Specialist you are an ambassador for & Other Stories. We always have our customers in mind and believe in a welcoming approach where our expertise and fashion knowledge is the key. You encourage and contribute to the shared responsibility of creating and protecting an inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone is allowed to self-identify.
Main responsibilities
As a PR Specialist you will effectively implement and manage PR activities in new and established international markets by working together with an in-house PR team and external PR partners. Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
PR and Media Relations
Create strategies and manage PR projects for & Other Stories, such as store/market openings, new collection launches, co-labs, influencer strategies and other press events/activities.
Work proactively with/on messages for the brand for expansion, collections, the brand-identity, etc.
Handle international media requests and setting up interviews.
Plan and administrate required costs for press activities.
Agency Management
Support PR agencies and PR Managers (specific markets) in Europe, Asia, Middle East and the United States.
Provide the PR agencies with relevant brand information, such as PR plans, press releases, messages, imagery, samples, seeding plans etc.
Assess agency performance with evaluation reports.
Manage agency activities.
Internal Communication
Ensure alignment of communications activity plans with other inter-departmental plans, especially marketing, visuals and design.
Liaise with H&M Group (Stockholm) regards internal group communication updates, delivering relevant & Other Stories information.
Spread brand-building and relevant info, across intranet and internally to stores, area's and ateliers.
Evaluation & Follow up
Set goals (KPIs & metrics) for PR projects.
Collect, monitor and analyse global media clippings in close collaboration with the PR agencies.
Qualifications
We believe that you have an understanding of fashion PR and great administrative skills. You are a strong project manager able to organize and create a clear structure in a high paced environment with a strategic mindset. As we are a young brand, new working methods are invented and implemented constantly. We also believe that you:
Have 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager, PR Specialist or similar from agency side & inhouse
Have a background from fashion & Beauty
Experience handling budgets
Are a strong team player & able to work independently
Solution orientated
Are strong in communication
Critical thinker
Fashion-forward
