We are now looking for a Global Business controller Volvo Bus Global Purchasing.
The mission is to drive the finance agenda and support the GPU organization. You have a key role in managing and optimizing the financial process in order to secure efficient controlling. You possess strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of integrity and agility, including an ability to network effectively with the VBC Finance community across functional and geographical areas. You love deviations but even more continuous improvement.
In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Business Control, Development & Support of VBC Global Purchasing.
Main Responsibilities
• Establishment, implementation and follow-up of VBC Global Purchasing Performance Indicators
• Drive and consolidation of the Global Purchasing Financial forecast for GPU
• Plan, monthly report and follow-up of purchasing Operating Income items, with special analysis focus on price variances & opex
• Consolidation of Global Opex and Headcounts for VBC Global Purchasing
• Support the investment process for supplier toolings
• Support management and other stake holders in decision making with the overall purpose to drive an efficient global purchasing organization
• Responsible and active involvement in finance training of global purchasing staff.
• Secure that the Volvo FPP (financial policy and procedures) are followed.
Key Capabilities Required
• Master of Business Administration or equivalent
• Senior experience from qualified business control matters preferably both on local and central level. Experience within Purchasing a plus.
• Qualified experience from Volvo business, routines, policies, and organizations from various areas.
• Experience from actively driving business development and change activities
• Good communication skills, high integrity, with strong logic and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of Purchasing systems, SAP and Excel
