hela Sverige Michelin is now seeking to recruit a General Ledger & Intercompany Accountant to our Nordic head office in Liljeholmen, Stockholm. This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave; we would initially like you to start in February/March 2015 and work for a year, until March 2016. Your main responsibilities will be to collect, prepare and consolidate the monthly data coming from all ledgers to perform the closing of the month and sending the group and financial result to the headquarters in France. You will be organizing the month end task and be responsible for the on time reporting.
During the month you will be responsible for entering various journals for General Ledger and Intercompany transactions, and analyse data to ensure correct accounting entries. This also includes reconciliations and justifications for numerous general ledger accounts which relate to the 4 Nordic companies in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. You will be dealing on a monthly basis with our outsourced purchase ledger in Barcelona and colleagues in all of the Michelin Group. You will also be asked to support the Financial Controller and CFO in the preparation of audit.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will work with system administration; handling the functional set up of the financial system to ensure compliance with Michelin Group rules whilst managing the requirements of the business and the key financial teams.
The person we are looking for should have a bachelor or master?s degree within Accounting and Finance. We need you to have some experience in working with accounting and we require you to be fluent in English and have solid skills in Excel. As a person you should be structured and thorough, be able to handle stress well and respect deadlines. This position also requires you to be self-going and driven.
