Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Game Artist to join our creative team in Malmö! You will work closely with artists, game designers and developers as part of an experienced game team, where your contribution will help shape the next generation of King Games.
Your Role Within our Kingdom
You will join our established team with the chance to work on some of our well- known and loved games. You will work in small cross- functional teams with developers and designers as part of a larger game team, where both your technical skills and creative vision will help to bring new exciting game experiences to our players.
Skills to Create Thrills
A creative person with a passion for games who has worked in the gaming (or similar) industry
A skilled artist who delivers high- quality artwork, with experience creating appealing casual game assets (objects, backgrounds, also UI assets)
You have great concept art skills with a good eye for composition and colour
Used to working with Adobe Photoshop
Good communication and organizational skills
Proactive in learning and developing your skills to the next level
Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation
Capability to work independently (with minimum supervision)
A portfolio demonstrating all aspects of your skill is required.
Bonus Points
Skills in animation and special effects
Interest in UI and UX
Experience working in an agile project environment
Previous experience from creating casual and/or mobile games
Experience as being part of a cross- functional team
Experience with game engines
Skills in Maya or other 3D software
Experience with game jams and prototyping
