Job description:
We are looking for a consultant to take role as Function Owner and Function realization responsible for redundant backup of parameters, which is a function to save customer settings and adaption data in vehicles, which is mainly used at our customers workshops. This is a role placed within the area of diagnostics and ECU Platform. The main responsibilities will be:
• Continue the development and model solutions/requirements for the function
• Develop strategies, target levels and reliable solutions/verification methods regarding the function.
• Lead the development of a balanced system for the function, involve influence on other current functions/systems.
• Take responsibility for the total coordination of the electrical realization of one function.
• Ensure that a common solution is created together with the System Designers for the electrical subsystems that are part of realising the electrical function.
• Deliver research work to define new requirement specifications
• Lead and coordinate the work to allocate the responsibility for each participating subsystem within the electrical system and to develop a solution for the interaction between the subsystems/PSS.
• Lead and coordinate the work to plan and follow up the integration of the function realisation in close cooperation with all concerned during the projects.
• Compile complete vehicle requirements for the function.
• Compile verification/validation method/plan, communicate and coordinate work with concerned stakeholders.
• Follow-up and report status of the realisation of the participating subsystems and components, including the status of the verification in each project phase.
• Actively participate in solving issues raised during the program
• Contribute in operational development, process, methods and tools.
Required skills:
• Master degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years work experience within relevant field (Embedded SW/HW/System-development)
• Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture in a vehicle
• Good general computer knowledge
• Good coordinator/project leader skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• System engineering / Project leader skills
Preferred skills:
• Good general knowledge of base technologies within HW/SW Platform
• Data Security solutions, handling of certificates, IP/WLAN etc
• Vehicle communication technologies ie CAN LIN MOST Flexray Ethernet etc.
• IP communication/protocols/routing
• Data file format, storage, types
• HW close programming skills
• Diagnostic knowledge
• Computer programming skills.
• Test and verification (E2E requirements)
