NA-KD has more than 150 employees working at their office in Gothenburg. The team are facing exciting challenges ahead, including developing brand new platforms. Black week was an exciting challenge that the team tackled perfectly and the platform was continuously successful through the enormous amount of users.
About the role
As a Frontend Developer at NA-KD you will work in a cross functional team consisting of 10 developers and work in a role to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include developing new user-facing features and building reusable code and libraries for future use, to improving the React single page application frontend. Also working with the design and content teams to help create reusable templates in the Epi CMS platform and helping to design A/B tests to improve usability and e-commerce conversions. Also design features with a focus on end-user performance and site scalability and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Opportunities to work on new e-commerce applications are also available.
To enjoy working as a Frontend Developer at NA-KD we think that you have at least three years of professional experience with Javascript, a modern JS-framework, HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design. You are used to dealing with single page applications and would likely have a design heavy approach. Your goals are set high and you plan to eventually become the best in your field. You have a genuine interest in technology and are able to keep up the pace.
Extra knowledge like experience with automated testing for UI/UX regressions and experience with Episerver Commerce, familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop and knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to quickly spot SEO anti-patterns, are all meritorious factors.
