This dual role is perfect for a creative and energetic person who loves working with children and has a strong command of the Swedish language. As an After School Care Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for students. As a Swedish Teacher, you will inspire students to learn and appreciate the Swedish language and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
After School Care Leader:
Supervise and engage students in after-school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Plan and implement a variety of recreational and educational activities.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
Swedish Teacher:
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Swedish, tailored to the language levels and needs of students.
Create a curriculum that includes language, literature, and cultural elements of Sweden.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their language goals.
Encourage a love for the Swedish language and culture among students.
Qualifications:
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Previous experience in after-school care, teaching, or a similar educational role.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an international or multicultural educational setting.
Additional certifications in child care or education.
Knowledge of additional languages.
