We are looking for a person who is driven by growing new business quickly and in an agile way with high interest in the opportunities that data brings. You should be able to translate insights into business opportunities and results and communicate complex and technical concepts in an easy way. We see that you are goal oriented with strategic, analytical and project management skills. You have ability to work under pressure and in multiple assignments and enjoy networking and create strong relationships with transparency towards all our partners inside and outside of IKEA.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Psychology, Marketing, Consumer behavior or related field, and bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in:
• Market and consumer research
• Bringing insights to the commercial and business development organization that has resulted in successful initiative
• End to end experience in planning and managing consumer and industry insights
• Experience working in the financial industry is considered an advantage
Furthermore, you have expert knowledge of financial services and data analytics tools and techniques. You also have good knowledge of business and digital development within the financial, payment and/or data privacy space. You are up to date of regulation changes and possible impact it may have on Ingka model. Finally, we see that you have an understanding of the IKEA Concept, Brand Identity and is motivated by sharing and living our culture and values.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role as Financial Services Insights Leader, you will be responsible to provide insights from consumer and the financial industry that can be used in the development of financial services for a more affordable and convenient life at home and work of the many people and companies.
More in detail you will:
• Be responsible for planning and managing consumer and industry market research on a global and local level, as well as analyze and provide insights for the development of financial services and present it for easy understanding.
• Identify data sources and opportunities to create automation in the data analysis and visualization of insights, including understanding the impact of these opportunities (e.g. business case when appropriate).
• Use and/or create data models and analysis to create intelligence thus improving the development of new financial services as well as improving already existing financial services.
• Provide key functions (e.g. Digital, Market Support or countries) with subject matter expertise in the development and deployment of financial services, as well as creating guidelines and tools for them to act according to the financial services insights when developing services, offering, marketing and customer engagement.
• Lead initiatives to gain consumer and industry insights and intelligence and keep track of new trends (micro and macro), technologies, regulations, and industry practices to identify how these can be deployed to competitive advantage.
• Engage with the Insights function and Digital to drive and promote financial services questions and interests towards existing consumer and data tracking tools and KPIs.
• Network and create strong relationships within our financial partnerships and other third parties including peer experts in data and insights within the industry to maximize full potential of knowledge sharing and nurture opportunities for co-creation.
• Communicate and present at internal and external events and forums, representing and reinforcing the Ingka positioning within financial services.
The role is located in Malmö and you will report to New Retail Business Manager in Financial Services.
