Financial Controller
We are now looking for a Financial Controller at CooperVisions Nordic office in Gothenburg. As an active member of the Country Management team, the role will work closely with the local Country Manager, regional HR and FP&A, and report to the Head of Finance, based in the UK.

The role as Financial Controller at Cooper Vision, is to take overall responsibility for the finance function within the Nordic region. We believe you are a commercially focused person and a strategic business partner, who will deliver insightful information to enhance management decision making. This is a highly visible and hands-on role, which requires a strong commercial understanding and business acumen. You are business oriented, and strive to contribute to its success. The ideal candidate has excellent communications skills and has an open mind set.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter:

• Overall responsibility for the Finance function

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of the country results in US GAAP

• Ensure all local statutory, tax and compliance reporting is complete and accurate

• Leading engagement with the Nordic commercial organization, on the preparation of the annual budget process and quarterly forecast preparation

• Drive consistent reports and analysis of financial results, to support both the timely and accurate monthly close process and management reviews

Kvalifikationer
• Academic degree in finance

• 7+ years' experience in the field of Accounting, preferably in an international environment

• Experience of managing a Finance team

• Strong technical accounting expertise

• Experience of US GAAP and SOX compliance models.

• Strong analytical capabilities as well as a good understanding of business drivers

• You have to be able to communicate freely in both English and Swedish.

You are an energetic, adaptable and ambitious individual who takes pride in your work and appreciates responsibility. Your analytical skills are highly developed and you enjoy working strategic and business-oriented parallel to being able to manage several ongoing projects as well as presenting relevant financial information.
