For our client, within the renewable energy sector, we're looking for a Financial Controller who enjoys working internationally with new markets and in a fast-changing environment.About the role
You will manage all financial transactions, reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures as well as producing the annual report. Furthermore, you will be ensuring that the financial information is timely, accurate, complete and compliance with relevant accounting and taxation principles.Responsibilities
Accounting responsibility for Swedish and Finnish SPV and Holding companies
Financial support towards the organization when preparing documentation for investors and other areas
Bookkeeping
Ensure that monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings are completed in a timely manner
Ensure that annual reports and declarations are made prepared and produce in timely manner
Liaising with external auditors, providing supplying documents needed
Ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting standards and principles; ensuring maintenance of proper audit trails and verification and reconciliation actions for all processed financial work
Make sure that VAT and tax are completed in timely manner
VAT registration
Invoice processing
Participation in internal control process
Payments on transactions
Bring a continuous improvement approach to all areas of the accounting function
Qualifications
A degree in finance, accounting or related fields
5+ years of professional experience in accounting
Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Data Tables and building spreadsheets
Strong analytical skills with close attention to details and an ability to meet hard deadlines
Ability to learn/understand processes quickly and adhere, as well as good IT skills
Good interpersonal skills and team cooperation abilities
Appreciation of a dynamic work environment and organisation that is continuously changing as it expands and develops
Fluent in English and Swedish, other language skills is a bonus
The assignment is full time, and the client has an office in central Stockholm. This role will start as soon as possible, with a 6-month assignment and you will be working as a consultant for Human Capital. After 6 months there will be a possibility to get recruited by our client.
